Who is Statewide Title?

Statewide Title, Inc. is an independently owned North Carolina title insurance agency. It is an authorized issuing agent for three national underwriters: Chicago Title, First American Title and Stewart Title. The Company has been writing title insurance policies in North Carolina since 1984. The corporate office is in Salisbury, and there are offices located across the state to better serve its customers.

Through its subsidiary, SISCOT (Statewide Information Services Company), Statewide Title was the first company in North Carolina to provide true web-based title services. SISCOT can also provide file imaging/scanning services to its customers. Another subsidiary is Statewide Title Exchange Corp. (STECT) which can serve as a qualified intermediary in 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. STECT can also serve as an accommodation titleholder in Reverse Tax-Deferred Exchanges.
